About Me

Gabriellia McNeil, a native of Accokeek, MD, is an organist at St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Pasadena, MD and music teacher. She has taught a variety of students encompassing different skill levels and musical goals over the past 7 years. Gabriellia received her BA in Music Performance ‘17 and BS in Biological Sciences ‘17 from Oakwood University in Huntsville, AL, and recently received her MA in Piano Performance ‘19 from Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD. She has also had the opportunity to work as a collaborative pianist in the Baltimore and Washington, DC metro areas, accompanying vocal ensembles such as the Urban Choral Arts Society or individual instrumentalists. Her most notable collaboration was with Patricia Billings performing Leonard Bernstein’s Sonata for Clarinet and Piano (1942) at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC for the Bernstein Tribute in 2018. Gabriellia has a passion for both musical education and collaboration between the arts and the sciences. It is her goal to merge her two loves of music and medicine as she believes that medicine is an art and music is a science.
